Course of Nuclear Energy Officials (NEO)

The Course of Nuclear Energy Officials (NEO) is operated by the WERC, organized by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan.
      The course covers a wide range of topics about nuclear power generation for example, safety management, nuclear regulation, risk communication, public acceptance, and decommissioning including brief introduction of radiation effect and outline of nuclear power plant. Participants will also get to know about past experience, current situation and future plan of nuclear power in Japan. By attending this course, participants will be better prepared to introducing nuclear power generation in their countries.
