Course of Nuclear Plant Safety (NPS)

The Course of Nuclear Plant Safety (NPS) is operated by the WERC, organized by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan.
      The course covers a wide range of topics about nuclear power generation on safety management, safety design feature, regulations, reactor physics, public acceptance, and decommissioning including brief introduction about nuclear power. Participants will also get to know about past experience, current situation and future plan of nuclear power in Japan. By attending this course, participants will be better prepared to introduce nuclear power generation in their countries.

Facility visit to the Fugen Decommissioning Engineering Center

<Eligible Persons>
Technical staff or researchers engaging in the nuclear technical field such as nuclear safety, radiation protection, nuclear engineering.
