Course of Site Preparation & Public Relation (SP&PR)

The Course of Nuclear Plant Safety (SP&PR) is operated by the WERC, organized by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan.
      The course covers a wide range of topics about nuclear power generation, environmental impact assessment, government nuclear policy, nuclear regulations, risk communication, and public acceptance. Participants learns about past experience, current situation and future plan of nuclear power in Japan. By attending this course, participants will be better prepared to introduce nuclear power generation in their countries.
